I loved reading this so so so much! Your honesty is raw, refreshing and sets something alight in me - I truly can't wait to read more of your work. May this be a wonderful year for you and thank you for sharing these words.
Thank you so much for your sweet comment. It gives me such joy that you feel this way, and I can only hope that what I write in the future of worthy of your admiration. I wish you all of my blessings for the year ahead xx
Utterly fantastic. I was hanging onto your every word like a little boy clinging to his mother’s skirts. You write like no one else and with a heart quite alight to all the possibilities, earthly and otherwise, we have been privileged enough to have access to. Congratulations on your successes; I am so glad they found you. Thank you for this.
Thank you so much for this incredibly generous comment. I am so touched that you thought so.
After you commented this, I clicked on your page and I went to read your blog, and I loved every piece I read. I think *you* truly have a gift—you organize your essays with such expertise, and your style is just beautiful. It’s a true privilege for me that you enjoyed this essay!
Amazing, and devastating as always Miriam, thank you, I was saving Hermann Hesse' "Magister Ludi" for my first read of the year as I'm trying to get back into literature after all these years, but I couldn't of asked for a better start, your writing breaks my heart, by which Mary Oliver meant, "that it may open and never close again / to the rest of the world." To future heartbreaks and world-openings this next quarter of a century!
Ethan, you are so sweet. Meeting you and our other friends has made redeemed so many of the struggles of this year. I am very blessed to have you in my life. Your encouragement never fails to give me joy.
